About me

Ellie grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. After college and a stint as a TV news reporter she paved her way out west seeking more digital pastures. Ellie joined one of the early web portals and became part of a generation that helped shape and define the digital age. She ditched TV News for the wild west of the web and has never looked back. 

Ellie has spent time with some of the biggest brands in the world helping them to shape their digital footprint. Apple, Google, Adobe, Frito Lay, Walmart to name a few.

At Apple, Ellie has created a bespoke production and creative “studio” within the Services: Product and Design Org. She oversees a cross product team of creative/design producers, motion designers, visual designers, prototype/creative technology teams and more. Her team is the go to for innovation and production excellence.

As Executive Production Director at R/GA San Francisco, Ellie oversaw the office’s production and operations department and was responsible for leading teams to plan and execute successful projects in partnership with clients and partners. She also helped to win several new business pitches that put R/GA SF on the map. 

While at Edelman SF as EVP of Creative Production and helped to build out a world-class production department from scratch and evangelize all things production to an amazing group of clients including Starbucks, EA Sports, HP, PayPal and more. 

At Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, she executed many award winning productions for fortune 500 clients such as Comcast/Xfinity, Adobe, Cisco, Doritos, Cheetos and more. She was named an Associate Partner in 2013, one of 15 to join this rank. She also built out the agency’s first creative technology practice and maker lab. 

Ellie is a recognized and award winning industry leader. She never shies away from speaking engagements where she shares her love of production and great creative work. Ellie is also an awards jury member this year and is enjoying seeing all the great work out there. 

In Ellie’s next life she wants to come back as a passport so she can continue on her quest to travel to every country in the world. (she’s made it to 6 of the 7 continents so far)
